ENCHANTED ANIMALS PROJECT

I would like to introduce my 'shining light' aptly named, not by me, Ludo. It was a further sign that our connection was heaven-sent. I have always chosen Italian or Latin names (must be my dash of Italian blood) Caesar, Rufus, Luca, Matteo, Sophia and Rex, my beautiful felines, all of whom I miss deeply. I added the Tobias as before Ludo came waltzing into my life when we needed one another the most, I was toying with the idea of letting a kitten into my life; I had the name in mind, as I'd previously nick-named a stray cat Tobias but sadly I wasn't able to keep him at the time. So, on May 24th 2019, Ludo Tobias Dady started his metaphoric rise from the new skinny cat, becoming the chunky, hunky King of the Neighbourhood.

For some reason, known only to Ludo (and possibly his ex-owner), he chose to live on the streets for three years (Ludo was six at the time) before our meeting. When he was scanned, the owner declared he didn't want him back as he wouldn't stay and kept wandering off, so the story goes. Five years down the line, Ludo is a permanent fixture who is loved and hosted by everyone within our little Camelot.

I don't tend to live with many regrets. Still, I have always wanted to work or help support in some way, shape or form the world of Animals Rescue and have long admired from afar the dedication demonstrated by various people and small non-profit organisations all around the world, so the point of this project is to connect and tell their stories in the hope of spreading a little kindness and a whole lot of awareness... so watch this space!

In the meantime, here are five such organisations that I have supported over the past 12 months. I would like to give them a big shout-out for their dedication and hard work.
